Voltarol Thermal

As with all medications, Voltarol Heat Patch may cause side effects, though not everyone will get them.

Side effects may include:

• skin irritation/rash where the heat patch is applied
• breathing difficulty, particularly in those with asthma
• sensitivity to light and/or skin discolouration

If you experience irritation, or any other side effects, stop using this product and talk to a doctor or pharmacist.

For external use only.
Stop use and contact your doctor if after seven days your pain gets worse or remains unchanged.
Do not attempt to reheat in the oven or microwave.
Do not cut or pierce the patch or let it get wet.
Do not leave the heat patch on the same area of skin for more than 8 hours in any 24 hour period
Do not use more than one heat patch per day on the same area of skin.

Avoid use:

• if you have previously had an allergic reaction to a heat patch
• on areas of skin where heat cannot be felt, or on damaged skin
• on children under 14 years of age or persons unable to remove the heat patch on their own
• on bruises or swellings within 48 hours of injury

Keep out of reach and sight of children.
