Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible side effects include:
- blurred vision
- eye redness or discomfort or other irritation not present before use of this medicine
- increased sensitivity of eyes to light
- matting or stickiness of eyelashes
- swelling of eyelids
- watering of eyes
If you experience these or any other side effects while taking this medicine seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
For external use only.
Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Do not use this product if it changes colour or becomes cloudy.
To avoid contamination when using this product, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface and replace the cap after each use.
Systane Gel Drops can be used with contact lenses – we recommend removing any contacts before application, and allowing 15 minutes before re-applying your contacts to avoid damage to them.
