Skinoren

Skinoren cream is used to treat mild to moderate acne, and can be used on the face, back and chest. It contains the active ingredient azelaic acid, which works by attacking a bacterium called P. acnes, one of the important causes of acne.

Blocked pores can produce whiteheads and blackheads, and painful spots associated with acne are produced when sebacious glands are infected by bacteria and become inflamed. Pores can be blocked by skin cells from the outermost layer of the skin, and Skinoren helps to slow the growth of this skin while the antimicrobial action helps to reduce inflammation, resulting in a reduction in the number of spots.
