The active ingredient in Rozex is an antibiotic called Metronidazole. This tackles infection by preventing bacteria from growing and multiplying, and helps to reduce the redness and inflammation associated with rosacea.
Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible side effects include:
- Dry skin
- Redness of the skin (erythema)
- Itching of the skin (pruritus)
- Skin discomfort (burning, pain of skin / stinging)
- Skin irritation
- Worsening of rosacea

Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
