Oilatum Junior contains light liquid paraffin and has been specially developed to produce a soothing milky bath to treat eczema and dry skin in children and babies.
Oilatum Junior forms an emollient film on the skin surface to reduce moisture loss, to soothe, soften and rehydrate the skin. It also cleanses the skin so soaps are not needed.
Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Some users have reported rash and skin irritation, particularly the first time they use this product.
If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
Once applied, avoid naked flames or smoking – some of the ingredients are flammable. Clothing, bedding and furnishings that have been exposed should be treated as a fire risk. Note that washing these items may reduce the buildup, but not remove it entirely.
