Lyclear is a cream used to treat scabies, pubic lice, and crab lice infestations on the body. The active ingredient is permethrin, which kills the scabies mites. Typically, one application of Lyclear is sufficient to control an infestation. Be sure to carefully follow the application instructions for effective treatment.
Following successful application of Lyclear Dermal Cream, itching from scabies can still persist for up to 4 weeks due to the presence of dead mites and eggs on the skin. There is no need to reapply the cream during this period. To alleviate itching, you can use itch relief creams or take an antihistamine.
