Lemsip Max Cold & Flu capsules contain a combination of ingredients which are effective in relieving the symptoms associated with colds and flu, including relief of aches and pains, sore throats, headache, nasal congestion and lowering of temperature.

Paracetamol is a well-known painkiller. It is effective against aches and pains, including a headache, and can also reduce a fever.

Phenylephrine hydrochloride helps clear a blocked nose, reducing the pressure which may cause a headache.

Caffeine is a mild stimulant and helps relieve fatigue and drowsiness through the day.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Side effects may include:

  • Restlessness
  • Sleep interference if caffeine is taken too close to bedtime
  • Reduced appetite
  • Feeling or being sick
  • Difficult passing urine (men)

Do not exceed the stated dose.

 

Seek advice from one of our pharmacists or GP before taking this medicine if you:

  • are taking any other medicines containing paracetamol
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • have high blood pressure or are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure
  • have glaucoma

 

Not suitable for use in children under 16 years of age.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
