Fucibet cream contains 2 different types of medicine. One medicine is called fusidic acid, which is a type of antibiotic. The other medicine is called betamethason valerate which is a type of corticosteroid (steroid). These two medicines work together at the same time in different ways.
The antibiotic kills the bacteria that is causing the infection, while the corticosteroid reduces swelling, redness and itchiness in your skin.
Fucibet cream is used to treat conditions where the skin is inflamed (eczema or dermatitis) and also infected by bacteria, helping to heal and soothe the affected area.
