Duac Once Daily Gel is a treatment for acne, and contains two active ingredients, clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide, that work together to help clear the problem.

  • Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria involved in acne from reproduction.
  • Benzoyl peroxide reduces blackheads and whiteheads. It also kills the bacteria involved in acne.

 

Applied just once a day in the evening, Duac Once Daily Gel works by:

  • Fighting the bacteria that can cause acne
  • Treating existing blackheads, whiteheads, and spots
  • Lowering the number of red, inflamed acne spots

 

Duac Once Daily Gel can be used by adults and adolescents aged twelve years or over.

Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects include:

  • Skin burning sensation, peeling, itching, dry skin
  • Redness of your skin, especially during the first few weeks of use
  • Headache
  • Sensitivity to sunlight, skin pain
  • Red, itchy skin, rash (dermatitis)
    These side effects are generally mild.

Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
