Doublebase Once is an advanced, highly moisturising and protective emollient for the skin. It can moisturise dry skin for 24 hours after one application, reducing the need for frequent reapplication throughout the day.
This easy to use gel helps to soften, moisturise and protect your skin by trapping moisture in the skin and restoring its normal protective function. It can also be used as an alternative to soap, preventing the skin-drying and irritant effects that can be caused by soaps, foaming additives and fragrances used in ordinary cleansing products.
Doublebase Once can be used by all age groups and is recommended for the management of dry skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and ichthyosis.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible (rare) side effects include:
- Skin irritation (mild rashes)
- Allergic skin reactions on extremely sensitive skin
Stop using this gel and speak to your doctor or nurse if your skin condition appears to worsen or skin irritation occurs.

Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Do not swallow. If this happens, treat the symptoms as you would with any case of diarrhoea. Drink plenty of water and do not attempt to induce vomiting.
Creams and emollients can cause slippery surfaces so extra care should be taken if used before or after a bath/shower.
Do not store above 25 degreesC. Paraffin-based and is very flammable so stay clear from any naked flames or sources of ignition. Any dressings, clothing or bed clothes which are exposed to this substance may be a fire hazard, even after washing.
