As children grow, their needs can change in various ways.
That’s why Calpol SixPlus Suspension was developed.
It contains over twice the strength of infant paracetamol to provide effective, soothing relief from pain and fever in children aged 6 and older.
It begins to reduce fever in just 15 minutes while being gentle on the stomach. Each pack includes an easy-dose syringe for convenient administration.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The most common side effect is a mild laxative effect.
In some cases, there may be an allergic reaction to either paracetamol or another ingredient. Signs of an allergic reaction include swelling of the face, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing, unexplained wheezing, shortness of breath, rash or hives.
If your child experiences these or any other side effects while taking this medicine seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
Please read the patient information leaflet before using this medicine.
Do not give this medicine to your child if:
- they are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients.
- they have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients.
