The active ingredients in Calgel Teething Gel are Lidocaine Hydrochloride and Cetylpyridinium Chloride.

This combination effectively relieves pain and discomfort associated with teething, especially when other non-medicinal treatments, such as gum massaging or teething rings, are insufficient.

Cetylpyridinium Chloride acts as an antiseptic, killing bacteria and preventing infections during the teething process.

This teething gel is ideal for babies and infants aged 5 months and older, providing quick, comforting relief from teething pain.

Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible side effects include minor stomach upsets, including diarrhoea. Normally, this will be fairly mild.
If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
