Buscopan IBS Relief has an antispasmodic action that, unlike pain killers, specifically targets the source of IBS cramps. Gentle on your stomach, but tough on abdominal pain, Buscopan IBS Relief gets to work in just 15 minutes.
The active ingredient in Buscopan is hyoscine butylbromide, which is found naturally in the shrub Duboisia, a plant native to Australia. Hyoscine butylbromide has been used for almost 70 years to provide one of the most reliable forms of IBS relief.
The tablets travel to the digestive tract, where they directly target the smooth muscles of your abdomen with an antispasmodic effect. This interrupts the signal telling your gut muscles to cramp, relaxing contractions and relieving your IBS pain. Within 15 minutes, Buscopan® IBS Relief begins to work in harmony with your stomach, so you can start feeling better.
