Peptac Liquid is an antacid treatment for heartburn and indigestion.

It is effective in relieving common symptoms of heartburn and indigestion, such as:

  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • bloating
  • gas
  • burning sensation in the chest

Peptac Liquid contains three active ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Alginate, and Calcium Carbonate. These ingredients work together to neutralize excess stomach acid, proactively reducing and relieving heartburn and indigestion symptoms.

It should be taken during meal times and at bedtime if needed to alleviate symptoms.

Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

 

Possible side effects include:

  • constipation
  • flatulence
  • stomach cramps
  • belching

If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.

 

Do not give to children under 6 years old.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are on a sodium-restricted diet (10mls of Peptac Liquid contains approximately 6 mmoles of sodium).

Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.

Please read the label and packaging before use.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
